As the year winds down, and my term in SGA comes to an end I had to make the decision whether to delete the blog – or pass it on to the next PR Director. Luckily, that’s me! There will not be much going on over the summer for the SGA – but definitely check back next year for some fresh posts!
This whole “blogging thing” was a new experience for me. And to be honest, at first I was not very impressed. A few visits and comments later – I was hooked. I learned a lot in regards to new media and technology, mainly from the projects we had to do for class.
While it was not difficult to find issues and events to write on – it was a challenge to stay objective and not let my opinions overtake the post.
I think my favorite was creating the audio interview with the SGA president elect. I really enjoyed using GarageBand and recording the interview. There is a possibility of broadcast journalism in my future…
Anyway, I enjoyed keeping you all updated on the Student Government Association here at Rowan University. Make sure to check back in the fall!!
